With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, I’ve had the opportunity to work with and learn from hundreds of suppliers across all categories. It’s become quite rare to encounter someone who, instead of offering a generic response, genuinely takes the time to dig into a nuanced issue and see it through to resolution. During a recent visit to the West Coast, I had a product question that required more detailed information. Initially, I received a standard, cookie-cutter answer that most would have simply accepted and moved on. However, what happened next truly stood out to me. Rather than letting the issue go, I was fortunate enough to be introduced with Simine who proved to be a true unicorn in our fast-paced industry. Over the next ten days, she didn’t give up where most might have. Instead, she remained communicative and thorough, persistently following up and exploring alternative options until we reached a full resolution. In a world where “turn and burn” responses are all too common, her unwavering commitment and professionalism made all the difference. I am genuinely at a loss for words to fully express my appreciation for her  determination and exceptional follow-up. Simine’s dedication to assisting, even when it would have been easier to move on after the first email, sets a remarkable example of customer service done right.
