History of Riegel Linen
Riegel Linen has a rich history dating back to 1838 in South Carolina, when the company initially supplied linens to the hospitality and cruise line industries. It later expanded its reach, offering tablecloths, sheets, terry, and surgical towels for textile rental, healthcare, retail, and hospitality markets.
As time passed, the company developed a strong reputation for providing high-quality product collections and innovative fiber formation and color retention breakthroughs. This allowed their products to endure frequent laundry cycles better and thus last much longer than others. This helped Riegel Linen products become the brand standards for hotels such as Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton, Starwood, Fairmont, and Four Seasons hotels.
In November 2019, Lion Equity Partners, a private equity firm based in Denver, CO, acquired Riegel Linen from Mount Vernon Mills. In 2021, Riegel Linen merged with T-Y Group and Harbor Linen, a former division of Bed Bath & Beyond, to become 1Concier. 1Concier is currently producing all the same products and maintains the “Riegel Linen by 1Concier” brand for the high-quality table linen line.
